I like it, but with the comic book hero look that you seem to be going for, his ankles look odd. I'd say they should be thinner, closer to the line continuing from the calf. Just a general superhero observation, it makes them look more agile and heroish.
Not that I'm really qualified to tell anyone anything.
<edit>And the perspective seems wrong on his right foot. I'm feeling like there should be more of the top of his boot visible.

Hmmm, his head + throat look strange to me... .
Well I'd say the anatomy is pretty good and so is the shading.
Hmmm, well I'd take the same character and try some other poses, because this one is a pretty boring standard pose... .
I still have problems with that myself... .
Well I like it, even though it's not really exciting.
Hmmm, I think the face would be my major point of critique but who am I anyway, to tell you?
Just my 2 cents ... as people use to say here I guess... ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Thanks for the comments guys!
The ankle-calves were first drawn in the usual comics-style, then overdrawn with what I hoped to be clear as boots. I guess that's not clear enough...hmmm...
As for the perspective on the right foot, I think I see what you mean. Good point.
The neck did seem to come out different from the sketch, and I'm going to see if I can redefine it to comply better with anatomy. Some of the neckmuscles got lost in the shading.
As for the face, the left cheekbone did give me some trouble...now that the piece is digital, I'll just fiddle with it a few hundred times to see what looks better.
And you have every right to give your crits guys. I asked for 'em, and if you hadn't replied, nobody might have. Thnx!
