Hi! It's been a long time I've post here!

So, I wanted to post here my future new pict. This is a work in progress... Do not hesitate to comment and give your insights

I want to start a serie of women fighter artworks. This one is my first one in the serie, a modern pirate mercenary. I wanted to give a modern touch with the clothes, while keeping a traditional approach for the weapons.

The hour tag on the right side is there to remind me how much time I spent on the drawing since I started research on the drawing

and do not mind the arrow! it is just a little reminder for the light direction! It won't be in hte final pict of course! :-)

Also, I have something that I find difficult to design : the paddings on the belly. Those I have made are too much metallic. I'm trying an other kind of of padding teexture, but I cannot find something that pleases me. Anyone here has a suggestion?

She's jumping from the other side of the wall, through the "window".

I wanted to give an insight about her movement with the chain weapon movement... Perhaps I was wrong. Any idea on how to change that? How to give an insight on how she came here?

Yes, Razzak, you're completely right about this leg . I haven't noticed that until now.

So I fixed the problem by shortening it a little, correcting the shadow and adding some thickness to her pant.

I took the time also to continue some chain links and the sting weapon (updated on march 20th)

Thanks

I post this on behalf of Matias A. Pan, who could only mail his answer.

>>>[Hi there, guy, I am MAt PAn, from Sijun Forums, I decided to mail you a very quick repaint of your last post there, I believe its fine, but some mistakes with the arms and legs can be corrected to make it better.
I did not posted it because I dont know how! hahaha (please tell me if you can) Does the image necesarily to be on a web site to post it, is there any other way?

Anyway here`s what I believe it shoul roughly look like so as to be a little bit better, I fI find some time I`ll mail you some other camera angles for this picture, Maybe a ground perspective coul do very well for it, who nows!

SO there is it, I hope you find it useful! ]<<<

Marakaz Buzjuz :

A lot of people seems to notice the breasts first, I wonder why

Thanks for your comment

MAt PAn :
Thanks for this feedback, which is highly interesting for me!

Such anatomical details will help me a lot for my future drawings. I don't think I can update this current drawing with what you told me (too much edition for that) but I definitely regret not having posted my pencil work here first. Your over paint would have greatly improved my drawing if I've had such a reference at first.

I'll be more than pleased if I can later have again such tips for my drawings.

Yeah I know, Spawn... She's such an ugly sissy. She should have stayed in hell... Mmmmmmhhhhh, but... is not Spawn a male?

BTW, I've updated the last picture with a Sting modification

I can't help but post that here!

As I saved a lot of snapshots of my drawing while coloring, a good friend of mine took them and made an animated gif with it (26 images)!

If you're interested and have 1700 kbto spare on your bandwith, or if you are simply curious, try this Link to animated "Work in progress" GIF.
