Since I am not a portrait expert, I am trying to improve my skills on that. this was an exercise for me trying to do my self-portrait without mirror or any photo reference. So I did this as if I was modeling an sculpture, that's why it is in B&W. it was very interesting to paint thinking as sculptring.

intersting way to go with the colours. I think that the face is still too muddy to move to that step, for the final that is. The colours are trippy though.

Basement Bound, After I colorize and add some lighting effects in photoshop, I went to painter for the final brush works(third img), I tried to keep some looseness of the strokes to increase the movement of the piece. |
