I have never colored in Photoshop before and so it may be crap, also I'm not a very good drawer either.

This was done for a assignment in illustration.

Also it's not finished yet which is why I need some help with it, what should I add to it so it matches the original pic more?

Oh and forget about the hair.. I will finish that later :P

Not a bad job getting the shapes pretty close, but you seem to only be using a shade of tan. If there's one thing I've learned here, and if you look, you can see, there are shades of red, green, yellow, and a bit of blue in the face. Not a bad start, though.

..Jep, more flesh color would be nice. A bit red/blue under the eyes nose etc..

I noticed you trace the guy's features. Do lots of you guys on the board trace the photo's you use for reference?
