Hello all!

After having passively enjoyed this wonderful board for several years now, I've finally decided to sign up. As is easily recognisable, I am not a professional artist, but a humble learner. Yet I will try to contribute to this place as good as I can, with the little ability and knowledge I have.

This started out as a quick attempt of a self-portrait (which it unfortunately did not become in the end ). I wasn't sure whether to post this in WiP, since it is rather unlikely to be touched again, but I don't think it's good/finished enough for the Gallery, so..
Comments and critique are of course very welcome.

Hehe, thanks for replying PixHortHit. I didn't want to post a nude-picture of myself (or of that strange guy that I ended up painting...) in my introductory thread, so I had to paint on some clothes. And I happen to rather like that new Enterprise show. While not being a hardcore-trekkie with plastic-ears and a beeping fake-phaser, I'd like to add
