My main language is English and the second main language I know is British Sign Language.
I can also speak a small amount of French phrases but not enough to get by with if I went over to France. |

I can speak American, English, and a little of the following German, Spanish, Latin, French, Hebrew, sign, and Basic was considered a For. Lang. in High School (does that count?) and I'm sure when I hit my leg on the coffee table in the morning that's a language all it's own! |

Hah. Jabberwocky, you remind me of the female (at least I remember you being female) version of me. In fact, a couple years ago, on some gifted-related survey or form or something (I think they were surveying the average extent of a gifted students' interests or something), it asked me which languages I spoke. And as you're guessing, I put American and English.
*geeky nerd giggle fit*
((I'm not calling you a geeky nerd)) |

I can count to 10 in spanish, thanks to Sesame Street. I know several phrases in Russian, and know the Russian alphabet by heart. I've forgotten what I know of russian, because my fiance, who spoke fluent russian, and I -broke up. I can say good morning in Chinese. I can speak S.E.E. (signing exact english)... my sister is fluent in ASL (american sign language), and I can't understand a damn thing she says.
Oh... and I speak dog. Something about those bitches... |

I can speak English and Chinese, and I understand a few words of Japanese, mostly because I've been struggling with Japanese SNES ROMs in the past few years. Eventually, I learned to read about all the menu item in RPG games. |
