This is a small piece of another pic Im currently working on. I started shading and detailing on the face, so the other stuff isnt really worth showing yet. I still need to put some wrinkles and veins(?) on his chin and forehead and some deeper shadows and brighter highlights on the edge of his head, to clearly seperate it from his ears.

I did that with my mouse. (took quite a while.) Its a good mouse, but still not close to being a wacom.
What do i do with his nose? I mean, a nose doesnt get any deep wrinkles, doesnt it?
Im not too happy with the area above his upper lip, but I dont really know whats wrong with it. |

It looks great. I like the detail in the textures on his skin. I think that the shape of the nose is all right, but the shading on his face dosn't help to describe the form. I did a quick paintover of facial shadow forms here Drag this to your address bar for the image |

You can't click on the link, it won't work that way. You've got to drag it to your address bar. |

Hey! Thanx a lot! Looks great! Ill try to fix that on my pic. I like the defined eye area at your paintover, but I guess, Ill keep it without any eyes to give it a more "skully" look.
Thanx again, its a great help! |
