ok I started on a comic but I dont have a scanner yet and its a cartoon styl thing cause Its easyer to draw comics for me, ok the plot is its in the future(havent decided a year) and earth has contacted other intelegent lifeforms(very similar to humans due to lack of imagination) and they ask for earths help in there own little world war, there are 3 main characters at this time and they are in a squad that is deployed to the forean planet and as always sh*t hits the fan and there ship goes down and the 3 characters are the only members of the squad left alive and they have to make it to there origanal desination on foot. the planet is inhabited by many unusual creatures most similar to earth animals but advanced. another thing is my drawing skill when I started drawing the comic licked balls so it starts out bad and gets better at times(I get artist block alot). but when I get my hands on a scanner Ill post a preview or somin untill I get a webspace.oviously I failed english. |

I know this might sound harsh but I think it is something you should know: It is generally looked down upon to post without showing your work. If you wanted to talk about concepts or ideas you have for artwork without posting artwork, you should post in the discussion or random musings. If you want to post in the WIP or Finished section...wait until you have something to post...THEN post. There is no reason anyone has to read the concept of your image before then. |

Not trying to be mean here, but the others are right. This probably belongs in Discussion or Random Musings.
Don't be discouraged about the scanner trouble! I have it too. You might want to try your local library. Often they have a scanner that you can use for free or for 10 cents a scan.
Also, you may want to get a friend to help you with the dialogue in the comic. Or at least start using more periods.

If your library don't have one, be sure to check out those photocopying places and the sort. They might charge you an arm and a leg for it though.
Scanners usually for less than 100 even now. You can get a simple USB Canon scanner for 100 bucks. They're cheap compared to what they were waaaaaaay back when. |
