Hey Probus, a few thoughts. First, learn more about the anatomy and structure of the human head. The way its put together, what makes each feature like it is, and how you can vary these to make something beautiful or ugly. I'm speaking from personal experience here, once you get into really studying and drawing people's faces your 3d head modelling will improve exponentially.
For the modelling itself, you have a good start. But I would suggest starting with the area around the eye and building out from there. Then build the lips and work out from there, connecting the two areas. And take time and extreme care when doing it-there's no time limit, just make it as good as possible.
Keep it up! ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Not bad at all, but have a look at the eye area in particular. Women tend to have a higher eye arch than men, and higher eyebrows. The depth of a head is usually about the same as the distance from the top of the forehead to the bottom of the chin. Yours looks a little shallow, but its hard to tell exactly. anyway, keep it up, and good luck. |
