First off, it doesn't look half bad. Don't call your work shit, if it's shit, why would we comment on it?

Second you need to clarify certain aspects, by varying your line quality and values. Only go the darkest dark in the absolute dark places, and only go the lightest light where you want the absolute highlights to be.

Also when doing mechanical objects, it helps to use a ruller to get that clean edge.

I also notice some perspective issues.

i like it! i have just one question. I use pencil and paper quite often to draw and i can never keep small spaces white...whats your technique, do you just draw around white spaces or do you have a small eraser?
i'm just wondering cause mine get smudged and dont' stay white

? I don't understand your reference to the '1 reply' thing. It's hard to crit a picture like this, because at this stage it's really too far off any kind of resolution to comment. And Jucas is right - don't disparage your own stuff, because if it's worthless in your eyes, then why should we take time out to appraise?

If I work in pencil, then I simply slip a sheet of copier paper under my hand to prevent too much smudging

be honest! did you or did you not start out with a sketch of a street thug with a ghetto blaster on his shoulder?
