Hey all! This is my first post here, though I've been reading threads on this forum for a long long time... now that I've got a little webspace, I thought I'd take advantage! So here are a couple unfinished pieces that I've been working on, a few hours each (1-2). What do you guys think? Any comments? I'm pretty much in an experimental phase in my art, where I'm trying everything, and I'm not really sticking to any particular style (though I think my overall style shows through pretty obviously). So here they are, the first one is OUT THERE, while the second image takes a lot of influence from Soul Reaver, though it was subconscious, and that realization came later:

the 1st one reminds me of a story I worte in 10th grade about a potato that stole body parts & was trying to take over the world.

I love the 2nd one, I'd definitly like to see the finished version

Thanks! That first pic is pretty abstract... I was going for the look of a booger with a body or something along that line.

Just for kicks, here's another pic I'm working on, it's a quick self portrait I did yesterday in about 25 minutes.

the second guy will be really interesting when its done. If your looking for a booger with legs, i'd say you've accomplished that one. nice.
