Here is a sketch that I did in 15 minutes roughly...I know that it is a little crooked but what do you think?

Good start. The eyes look big though. Especially the one on the right. |

It's a bit crooked . That's nothing wrong however. If you exaggerate it a bit, you would be suggesting some kind of turning or twisting action.
If you would like more "manly" lips, don't outline them completely, but use shadows to set their volume and form.
It's a good head, not one of those thirteen in a dozen, perfect proportions, well shaven and good skin kind of heads. |
