In this fast paced world, we are burdoned
with the question..." Where are we going? "
We've only been here about 50,000 years or so.
With the exspansion of technology and the
unfolding of proper Government we are losing grip
on what makes us human......Do any of us
actually know what " Being Human " is anymore?
I sure as hell don't.......we're due for a big change
and computers won't help us eat or stay warm.
The blindfold is on and we're going 50 down the freeway.
I think we a doomed to trap ourselves and we've
known it all this time......never looking back. Better have fun while ya can, I am.....

In my opinion, if you believed in God you wouldn't be afraid
of death so much. You need to get down on your knees and
pray for his forgivness.
This life is just the begining.

You don't have to trouble yourself asking constantly where you are going. Just live and do stuff, you're there before you know it. I have pessimistic opinions about the near future, but after that I think things are going to be a bit better. I can't see any possible way of preventing the horrible future that's been described in so many books and films, except almost complete turn-a-round of heavy manufacturing industry and transportation methods. Oil, water, power... we're running out of those things. Drought, pollution, distributing food unequally, world is full of that. Tons of people die in thirld-world countries because frankly nobody want's to care anymore, either people think it's too late or "fuck it".
I'm not completely pessimistic about these things, I do believe things will be ok after some time. Several decades, maybe 100 years from now, things will be much better. Or maybe world will turn into global wasteland, scary world of deserts, ruins, dead people, sick people, poor people and finally the rich people which live in their "ivory towers"... really, if things go on in the worst possible way, I truly belive that scenes familiar from certain science fiction novels can come true.
But still, it's better to just live, and adjust yourself to conditions, and maybe see just a bit ahead, so that you can guess what's coming.
I think true christians and other god-worshippers will be the most shocked ones. They usually believe human is a special creature, and has a special relationship with this planet and the surrounding universe perhaps, but when they see things are just fucked up 100% 24/7, I can't imagine them keeping their faith to the end. Of course, they will probably think: "Things are going to just fine, this is just temporary", and maybe that's true, I hope. |

I'm not worried about myself....it's our children and theirs and so on.....
I'm living my life one day at a time....
The world has turned into a buy-sell commerce.
Most people don't know the truth of whats really going on
cuz they watch the news. The news doesn't say half of it.....not to mention the Government keeping stuff from us....I just see the truth...I hope the truth is wrong |

OH NO!!!! MONEY! I'M EVIL!!!
Why the hell would the truth be wrong? Wouldn't it then.. not be the truth? And why do you see the truth and I don't? Or my mom? Or your mom? Or the pedophile down the street? What about the president, or anyone else alive?
Better yet, tell me the truth.
When have we ever known what being human actually is? What makes us human?
Where I live, the speed limit on the freeway is 75. Driving 50 mph gets you shot or run over.
And quit taking the blame for all this shit in our shitty existence. You have no more idea what's going on in this world than anyone else, and you've had less impact then you're parents, and nowhere near as much as your grandparents. If we had continued the social trend from the 1950's for example, we'd be well out of oil, and we'd still be hanging "niggers from the bridge". The opposite is true, and there's no reason to think that in 5, 10 or 20 years, things will be much, much better than they are right now.
It's part of evolution, my good man. We crash into this planet like a damned plague, and the planet/nature fights back. We get disease, war, famine and poverty until we learn how to live in balance. We have less wars now than we did 3 centuries ago, and far less than we did 1,000 years ago (remember the feudal system in Europe?). we have more cures for diseases than we did ten years ago, and less people are starving than before. We're learning how to conserve, reuse and recycle, and we're doing it fast. Life's not so bad, unless you stare at your feet and complain about your old shoes, instead of the new ones you're going to get next week. |

When is before? I don't think there has been a time in history when there were more people dying of starvation than there are right now. |

If Jesus was perfect, why did he need to edit his message? |

Percentage-wise as compared with the total population, there are less people starving now then there was, in, for example, 1100 a.d.
There are more people starving to death today than ever before simply because there are more people.
And the only real obstacle to stopping world starvation is money. Right now, world governments are paying subsidies to farmers to grow less crops, grow less cattle, etc. If the farmers flooded the market with as much produce as they could, they would upset the economy. Produce prices would plummet, and farmers would fall into debt. They couldn't grow the crops, and a lot of people would starve.
Sort of a Catch-22. |

I use to worry that my life would turn out like everyone else.
We are born, go to school, get a job that we hate to get money that we rarely see any of to survive this world that just keeps costing more and more, then we die!
It's sad, but true!
Then I graduated and I know it's only been a few months, but everything about the world your parents told you IS TRUE! Okay not everything... You can hold you face that way and it won't get stuck! Go ahead try it.
I myself... I'm not going anywhere... at least for awhile! |

What would be nice is if us as a species would be better off to the rest of the world sticking around. But Im afraid its the other way around. We just dont seem to be doing any good.
What always gets me is ...If you live in a City and you look out your window...then you look at a map of the city,,,to think it is one big slab of concreet and we may swallow more and more of the world in concreet and cities. Wierd...Thats to much concreet.
I live in a very nice aria. I havnt been out hiking for a long time. Spent most of the last 3 years going to computer graphics college and sitting infront of my computer. The other day I went on a hike way out by this Mountain River. It was beautifull. To stand next to a River with fresh air, the smell of clean water and a view of a larg Mountain peaking up over some hills. Made me wish I was not where I am. But as most things go...the trail has to end, and I have to get into my car and drive back. To go work at a Video Rental store so people can watch movies and yell at me about their late fees that they have and they say they shouldnt.
Wow...that went on loger than I thought..hehe
Chears yall
