your character proportions are
not bad at all
maybe redraw the arm that's holding the bow
more solid.
and those gadgets are important too!
exagerate some to emphasize the strenght
or speed of your character
play around with their sizes and shapes
thus..

Tek's redraw is really good. It's a more natural pose, especially with the bow arm. Don't be afraid to overlap elements, it gives the drawing depth.
The original right forearm is pretty short, but the main problems lie elsewhere. The first thing that jumps out is the extreme slant. Flip the whole thing horizontal and you may fall out of your chair. There's also the lack of perspective. We can't be level with every part of her anatomy, though it would seem so, especially when looking at the feet, which are fully foreshortened. In tek's drawing, we're looking at the chest (shame on you, tek). Look up Willy Pogany, Loomis, Bridgeman and Civardi for good examples. I say keep at this, you're going in the right direction. Try drawing some catalog models, as they tend to stand in pretty good poses. Try drawing them upside down, as well. You'll be surprised.
