I just got the base colors down, the actuall size is 4000xsomething and 300 res, so I have a -lot- of detail work to do. Feel free to butcher me and so forth

I'd really like to get this one right, so any comments are appreciated.

I'm getting really good with these "silence" spells

Anyway, I'm going to start the detail soon (tommorow most likely or late-late tonight, and if anyone has improvement suggestions feel free, be it adjustment to the lighting/highlights, incorporation of cool colors, etc. I really like the expression, it makes the picture but i'd like the make the painting woth mention too

Also, wanted to do a background eventually as well, but have it look blurred, kind of like a camera focusing in on her, have the background be about the color it is now but try to make a photorealistically blurred beach scene or something in the backdrop.

Any c&c welcome.

Hello Granite, the pic looks really good so far. I like the subject matter and mood a lot
Just wondering, was it done from reference? If not, I would lessen the distance between her nose and lip and make her chin area a little less large.
The colours are vibrant and look great, good luck with the rest.

Thanks

It's done with reference, but I havent been using the photo for the colors since i'm changing the atmosphere, I used a sketch for the dimensions though. Trying to capture her likeness, but now that you point it out the chin almost looks pointed because of the shading, so I'll try and round it out a bit, and her neck/behind her chin is suppose to be scrunched because of the way she's bending but I think I've made her look more weighty than she actually is, she's fairly thin, (not skinny, average build) so i'll play with that a bit.

Fresh eyes are good, thank you, i've been staring at the picture way too long
