Here is a picture that I need to make last minuet adjustments to before I color it on PS. So I would apreicate any helpful "constructive no fluff critics" that you ppl can give.
Doesn't she just look happy? I've been working on this off and on, until I've finally decided to post it. Cheers. |

the body, anatomy, and proportion look great to me the only thing that bugs me is the lack of definition in the face. i understand the sort of anime roots of it but as a b&w piece i can hardly tell where most of her parts should be. so i have 2 suggestions, 1 woudl be to uncurve at least one of the tears (our left side one i prefer to be chnaged) because they look strange both falling the exact same way. and add a little more definition to the nose and middle of lip.
you said you woudl be coloring it and i dont know your painting style so by painting it it may be the perfect amount of definition now, but as a personal preference and assumtion of a cell shading type of coloring, i would like to see some more nose and lip |

thanx for your comments Keto. Okay, so I messed with the face a little, and this is how it turned out. The more lip thing just didn't cut it so I went back to the simplistic way of doing things. I did change the nose and the tear though. Personaly, in the end I like the first one the most. BTW which do you ppl out there like more? Just interested.

well... I've been looking at this drawing for quite some time now, I dont know why, but maybe because the perfection of her pose seemed to challenge me to find something wrong!! It was hard and its really only a small thing since I really think its a nice simple drawing you have done. But when a woman lifts her arm like that... then the breastmuscles connected to the shoulder will actually lift the breast, and not lower it!!!
As I said, It wasn't the first thing I noticed, but Now that I have, it seems to bug me a bit!!
hmmm... now I look at it again, I think there's also something wrong with the way the hair falls through her fingers, and I believe you will change those heavy lines of tears when you colour it... well never mind...
Anyway as i mentioned before, its a skillfull drawing! I especially adore the way you've managed to portray the twist of her hips underneath the thin dress (it looks thin to me even though you haven't coloured it!!), with only three lines... Not bad man, Not bad at all!!!

Okay, it's redone (yet again) thanx to arkoh, because once he/she pointed out the whole breastmuscle thing it started to bother me to. I think I'm going to start CGing it now. Most of the little things can be tweaked in the process. I'm starting to like the way she's turning out, but that might change when I attempt to color the thing, lol.
