i loosely used a reference from a picture i took.

Wow, ultra cool style! I like the lok of it very much.

His face seems awfully pointy though....His facial expression does not build or mold his face into the shape it has now, if it did his mouth would look more ackward, I think.
Does that make any sense?

But I like it never the less!!

thanks a lot for the crit. so if i model the lips around a cylinder of something will this be solved, or do you see that with the rest of the expression? or am i just not getting what you're saying.

yeah, that sort of confused me to. I think it's just that the shadowing of the cheek is a little weird and the center line of the face is also a little obscure. But I like the dark look, and the style.

well i'll just mess with it i guess then. it's due tomorrow and it's being turned into someone who doesn't know anything about art anyway. for anyone who's interested, this is my perception of raskolnikov from crime and punishment.
