Hi everyone, this is my first post, so I hope the image shows up, hehe.
Anyway, I just thought of this pose and wanted to try out my new Wacom, CnC plz, I need help with Anatomy and I would like ideas on what to do with it now, overpaint if you want to.
Crouching Guy
I really appreciate it guys, I've been lurking for quite some time just trying to soak up all the great art styles and just basically learning. |

Not bad man, not bad at all!!
I can see, that even though you ask for help on the anatomy, you have not been shooting in the dark here!!!
Just one advise... if you want serious comments, and give people here a fair chance of looking at you drawing in detail, you upload the drawing in a bigger size... I can bearly see the image... which means, I do not dare, comment on it in details!! |

I would have to agree with the post above, maybe post a larger image of it so we can see detail.
The next question is where do you want to go with it. Do you want to add more color or stick to the blue only? Do you want a background with scenery? Do you want to define it even more make the anatomy more correct? Do you want to add graphic design to it and make a collage?
Figure out where you want to go with it.
But, overall I like the pose and gesture of the piece.
Crits. I think the arm looks a little out of proportion, the forearm is too small. You need to define somewhat of where the spine is: so it leads into the neck and the head right. Maybe take a picture of someone in that pose for reference. Also what exactly is his other arm doing, is it hiding behind his body? try crouching like that.. Does it seem normal to have your arm hide behind you for balance. Things like that. If I think of anything else Ill drop more info.
Good Luck |

I dunno if this helps, but when I look at your picture, I imagine somebody who has just jumped or landed from a very high height, and is about to stand up to deliver a stomping. Or something like that.
I know very comic bookish =P
anatomy wise, you seem to be right on track! Proportions and everything seem to fit. I might raise the head up a but, the face I mean. Like hes looking outward as hes about to stand. Maybe =) |
