this is just a basic outline for a WW2 street fight, i had in my head.
I invision smoke and haze fading out the background and bullets hitting the ground around his feet, I wish i could make the soldier bigger and more.......like he's running for his life! but hopfully it will come together when I color it, But i also want to see it in a black and white scale like old war photos. any ways C/C needed or maybe if I'm lucky, someone to show me a better pose for the soldier
Thanx guys, and LET THEIR BE SNOW!

the second pose looks like hes flying, but I like the first one Do you have one of those figure models, or is this just from years of practice, I can build a human figure but I just cant dramatise it like that. SHOW ME MORE....PLEASE ![](images/smiles/icon_razz.gif) |

I'd say simply this:
Nice. and..
Have him look to his left. It's seems like he's hesitating which I find rather interesting. Creates suspense for the mind rather than suspense for the eye.
Yeah

no ... i start leaning poses few months ago. The best way to learn dawing action poses is to took a magazin like X-Men or any other magazin and draw the positions down.
Good tutorial to find : www.polykarbon.com
Have a look at it ! And then start drawing. You will see it works ! |

thanx for the comments guys, I have looked up web sites for tutorials on figure drawing and such, but I think I'd learn more in a drawing class.
NullTygre: It's one thing telling me its wrong, but could you tell me whats wrong? |

Hi, i like the drawing...it looks like a promising picture. I wasn~t able to visualize see's picture. anyway, It doesn't really look like he's running. It's more like he's pacing around looking for something in the debris. I think something could be done about the composition...to get more movement into it.
I made a little "paint-over", I hope you don't mind.
Now I'm no expert on the subject but I'd like to suggest a couple of things.
If anyone feels that my suggestion is absurd, I'd like to hear it in a constructive way, of course.
sorry about the small size...my free webspace is almost full :P |

I wish I could see Swany's original pic, but it's not showing up. I can see Novacaptain's paintover though.
It looks like it's going to be a cool action scene, but I wondering where the bullet ricochets around the soldier will be coming from. Are they from the plane above, or somewhere else?
BTW, that Polykarbon website is very useful! I've seen it around before but it's great to visit it one more time. |

I wish I could see it to highfive, I can see the pic for about 2 days after i post them and then for some reason, mine and all other on my thread cant be seen. I'm with Liquid2k, maybe thats the probs.
As to your question about where the bullets are coming from, well, I hadn't thought of that, but because its going to be very smokey you wouldn't be able to see the axis soldiers, and no the plane isn't firing the bullets, we'll see what happens when I color it. maybe you have some suggestions?
I'm moving soon to Melbourne, to start a course which will take up most of my valuable years as a youthfull young man (all I want to do is ski) and I wont have a pc for maybe up to 3-4 months, so I might be saying good bye soon to the forum, but i'll try to finish this before i go! |

Am no expert, but I gather some free hostings have a Megs/month or Megs/day bandwidth limit - the pics might be back up next month - ? |
