this is a sketch for my next big showcase piece, specifically to test colour and value. i've really fell in love with this version though, everything's turned out like i imagined.
things yet to be resolved are the colour of her hair spike things, her eyes, and whether to have a veil in front of her bikini or not.
things to be added: real anatomy, designs on her sword, a thin layer on some parts of her skin of insect wing, similar texture for her cloak, detail in her armour, and possibly a dragon design behind her.
c&c welcome.

I like the composition for the reason that I think that it is very confrontational. Yet, I think that the upper torso is static. Some movement might make it more dynamic, for instance, if it was twisted to the right about 10 degrees. I think with that the eyes will become more piercing when they are looking at the viewer from a slight angle. Otherwise a awsome piece. What are you going to do with the background? A sand storm?

thanks all. yes, i am planning on rotating her torso a touch. i know it would probably look cool with her eyes at an angle, but i love the cold stare she's wearing now.
heh, sandstorm. i guess that's what my random painting looks like. i'm not planning on having a background at the moment.

absolutely stunning.

the scale between her legs seems to too much.
looks like underware.
try to keep it as less as possible, to keep our eyes open |
