Oh my God!!!!!!
Excellent. I must say that I love it just the way it is!!! I would hang that on my living room wall, no sh*t!!!
The chrome letters work really well, whithout being too much more detailed than the rest of the image.
Ofcourse, excellent composition as well. In it's deconstructivistic ways it reminds me of russian art from the 20-30's, (don't know the artist I'm thinking of)...

Sukhoi: Thank you! actually there is nothing like composition or architectural concept behind it. Its just scribbling around and fixing some edges afterwards.
I had seen some parts of "blade-runner" before.

btw: isnt it strange, so many people are hanging around here at x-mas time?

Wow, I really love this piece. It like how you get a sense of depth on how high those buildings would be.
Good work.

Jezebel: Thank you!

lookitsfrank: No. Its scaled down and sharpened a little bit. First I started at 800x600 (my computer is VERY slow). After I couldnt add any more details I went up to 1200x1800.

FireFry: Thank you! I hope to do some more a put more work into the detail-contrast, because at a second look, the upper buildings seem to detailed. Maybe its just me.

btw. Here is the hires-version. Nothing more to see there, though:

Hehe, Bladerunner, one of my all time favorite movies! But you didn't really see daylight untill the end
I must add that the absolute ROUGHNESS is beautiful! I must listen to the Squarepusher "Go Plastic" album now: Runs off listening, dancing, comes back to computer, looks at image, runs back to dance etc.

Sukhoi: hihi. Actually the image was pretty much induced by music. I tried mp3.com recently. Look at http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/70/angina_p.html and there esp. "sidetracked". Right after hearing this track I started photoshop and painted for an hour or two.
