What are you hoping to achieve? Will you eventually digitise this?
At the mo' this is very, very basic. His wrists are a bit on the long side and his hands are a tad on the small side. Was this a life sketch?
Er... can you shade?

Audacity- just phrasing something differently can make a big difference. What kind of a crit is "Er.. Can you shade?" I mean seriously is that supposed to be helpful?
his left "inside elbow" area where it is close to the shirt could use a touch up. Looks like someone took a knife and cut a chunk of his arm out.
keep goin on it

i am very upsad about the first reply.
i know i am not very good at this field. please understand this.
u dont have to depress me like that!!
this is my selfportrait. yes. i drew it when i had free time. thought u guys would give me some good advices.
that focus is on the head. where the hair was wet and the unshave face. i know u expect more than that. but thats the best i can do with my pencil.!!!
hopefully i can get a tablet soon!! |

Hmm.. I think what he meant in the first reply was that it'll look more finished when you shade or colour it. Other than that, I can't see any problem with the anatomy, although the background is a bit dirty, but you can fix that when you colour it. So far, it looks pretty good. Keep drawing. |

ahm...I don't get it. It says "got milk?" and he has "milk" tatooed on his arm...does that mean he's got milk or something? Maybe a background coul help to add to the context.
Anyways: the hands are a little small. The pose in general isn't very dynamic or exciting. The wrinkles on the clothes need more work.
Is this a portrait? |
