Here's a wip on a landscape picture i started the other day. I'm kinda going for the hobbit grassland look, with a few trees.
I'd like some pointer on the grass...i don't know if im doing it rigth...basicly im using a noise brush with low opacity and dragging it in the direction i want the grass to stand. I plan on adding a creek as you can see. The small pebbles on the beach are NOT going to stay, i just put them out to test the position/composition... anyway.
Tell me what you think.
Edit: Sorry for the full-res shot. I didn't want to cut down on any details.

It doesn't seem to have any depth. It looks more like a collage or a relief image than a landscape. The rocks around the water are a bit ugly.
"Can we say filter?"
"...Fill turr..."
"Very good boy's and girls!"

Keep working with that noice brush, it's looking good for the most part.
