here are some quick renders of my new model. What i like to know is: Is this model suitable for an (almost) photorealistic render like the one in the Reference ? I know i need some detailed textures and a realistic surrounding, and i know it may be a stupid question but just wanted to know.

Looking good so far!
The nose looks like it's curving upwards a little as it's tapering to the point, so you should try to straighten that out.
Also, the tail shaft of the chopper should be a little narrower heightwise.
As well, the reference photos show that the chopper looks boxy in shape whereas your's looks narrow, smooth and almost streamlined. The area around the cockpits should be widened in the direction of the wings by 50%
Finally, there's two points on the chopper's body where right-side landing gear connects. The lowest connection should be almost at the bottom of the body.
Sorry about being so vague, but I'm trying to write this quickly as I'm short on time. Hope it's useful ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

thanks highfive, i took em into consideration, but as you can see in the wireframe, i already converted the body to an editable mesh with way too many polys(poly count is 63000 i believe). so i wasnt able to do many adjustments to the body shape. hell.
I rendered it with brazil, only i havent figured out yet how to do motion blur in brazil(post image blur is disabled).
C&C welcome
