Ok, I finally put some more work on her ... nothing too finished yet, but should still give you a better understanding on what I am (was) after with the pic.
I know the hi-lites on her cheeks are a bit off, and that she could use more detail (like the hair, the eyes, nose, lips). Other than that, all c&c you can come up is very much appreciated! |

I couldn't care less about anatomic correctness but the nose looks weird. It should point more to the right. Same with the mouth. It looks a bit flat.
But that is just my 2 cents.
Good luck with it. |

Ok, I tried to tweak the shadows somewhat .. also refined the nose and the lips - still, don't mind the hair, I'll be redoing it, currently it's just a piece of lump hanging (sorry bout that).
All C&C most appreciated!
Update: edited the face further still - put the new version next to the old one for comparison - note that the changes are almost as subtle as from the version before that to the previous version, i.e. very mild.
And guys, thanks for your comments so far!

This has been very nicely painted so far, Marvel. From what I can see, I think the tip of the chin is too large and round. Most people usually have a larger concave surface between the bottom of the lip and the start of the chin tip. Try making the hilite on the chin and jaw less round and more crescent shaped.
Also, I think the gradient of the shadow on her forehead should be less strong. Foreheads are usually only slightly rounded between the eyebrows and the hairline and I don't think the shadow around her hairline should be that dark. I think if you had the same tonal values going from the hi-lite on her right cheek to the eye instead, the forehead would look more accurate. |

Mainly picture is looking really good. Here comes a few things i spotted. Maybe some of them aren't just done yet (like the hand), but here goes anyway:
- Some shadows should be darker. The darkest shadow is always right next to the brightest light.
- Eye sockets should be deeper.
- Form and size of the hand isn't right.
- mouth and chin seems to slightly off from the rest of the head. Also check the form of the jaw bone.
- eye brows should be more curved to the sides of the skull and the form of the skull in that area should be more strong.
- Bridge of the nose area doesn't have the correct form.
