number 3 has the most emotional response I think
you can easily imagine a soft flood light
shining down on her. but it will be a killer to get her cheekbone right.
maybe you can put a strong dark shadow on that part? |

I would choose the second pic, it has the best composition. The first pic is very well drawn and I think it's the next strongest piece. Cropping is slightly off in the last one. |

hmm, the first one! I like her pose, but I would try to turn her a bit into the viewers direction. Would make it even more appealing. |

As with other people, I'd also go for the second one - it's clear enough and has the best overall shape. |

I'd choose the second. The eyes show more personality, like a portrait. The rest just seem like pin-ups, IMO. All nicely drawn, by the way. |

Geez with all those ideas how are you ever going to make up your mind. I personally like the third and then the first. They look so much more sensual and lustrious as opposed to the second which is also very good but they shape a movement in the first and second do wonders for pics or at least I think so. Great job. ![](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

3rd one. Definitely the 3rd one.
Does this really count as nudity? I mean, there aren't actually any nipples or anything. ![](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

I am going ti finish all of them, But I agree with the 2nd one and the last one being the best for my composition.
Jelo: RE-post that pic, I'd like to see it
Mr. Lonely: I used myself as a reference..
IMAGE TAKE OUT FOR SYJN
I made the drawing a bit thinner and larger breast.

speaking strictly as a pervert, i'd say you're pretty hot.
ok, when you're drawing figures like that, make sure you're drawing the form and not just lines, it makes it alot easiler to go over with color later on.
i can't wait to see how these turn out. good luck! |

Long time no see, Ivey.
I like the first or third one.
Looks like you've moved on to a more realistic style? What happened to the anime/manga style you used to draw? |

I like 2 and 3 alot.
It would be easier to decide if they had similar moods but they are drastically different feeling drawings.
I bet #2 would be more of a thrill ride to paint than the rest, so i'd suggest it. |

3
It's a close call though. All three seem to be well done thus far and could be easily made into great images. Just remember to draw through the forms, think about the volumes and not the outlines and you should do fine...even 2D animators generally start with simple 3D shapes.
-Flinthawk
(Oh and uhh, I like the hair you've got sketched in on the third one...if the final is going to stay nude make sure to play up the hair aspect of the image...mmmmmmm, long hair....) |

Yeesh, I hope you're comfortable with the idea of a bunch of internet/art nerds jerking off to your admittedly lovely countenance. Was that one hell of a backhanded compliment or what?
P.S. You seem to have made good progress. And I like #2 the best. |

Hmm -- everyone seems to be siding with #2, but (with respect) it is a bit cliche. Naturally, any body of art is cliche anymore, but what you've done is made two other, more unique works to buffer it (#1 and 3), which makes the "looking directly into the camera" thing that much more, you know, typical. No impact -- though she admittedly is more attractive making eye contact...
As far as cool shots go, #1 reigns.
Particularly, I love the conservative look of #1. There's a bit of voyeurism in her pose -- you know that she knows that everyone is staring, but maybe not; maybe she's just sitting there flipping through a comic and has a better sense of posture than most. The arm in motion could be clicking a mouse -- I don't know about the rest of the world, but I'm addicted enough to my comp to go surfing right out of the shower. There's more sexual tension to it -- to this girl, I mean -- and a pure visual stream. Plus the angles are confident and sharp. Plus she is perfectly proportioned.
Having seen the in-prog coloring of #2, I quite like where it's headed. But assuming you do finish all three, that first shot will look astounding. I dunno; perhaps I just like a side profile more where the female form is concerned...
On another note, you really are putting yourself out for spears with that photo, heh heh! Best of talent. ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Lunatique: My anime style? My bitchy drawing one teacher hates it.. "No cartoons". I can understand where she is coming from, its easier to draw cartoons, when you know the proportions in real life. But she REALLY hates them.. she won't even grade a paper if it remotly reminds her of anime. So I was foreced to change styles, I still draw in my anime style.. I couldn't let go of it, but for this project, I thought I try to be a bit realistic. I've been gone for... 8 months? or more? My drawing now is the product of a bitchy teacher.
Flinthawk: I did more 3d shapes and sketches.. I just did it in layers. The shapes on one layer, the outline of those shapes on another. I tookt he shapes out.. but I might go back and retrace them.. these are still very cold.. and I need to add feeling, but I wanted to know which one deserved development. I am doing this for a friend before I move to atlanta.
I like 3 myself. I'd show you the refence, but I don't liek it all that much.. and it's a bit questionable ;]
Any ideas on clothing? I thought about full body tattoos.. would faeries have those?
jr Thanks for the complement and the tips ;]
bld I have already started painting #2... and it is fun ;]
sacrelicious LOL, I'll take it as a complement and as a warning not to post my referances quite as offten ;] |

Little Bee Thanks for the tips and for the warning/complement.
The reason I did the coloring on two is because the girl I am doing it for feel in lose with the pose.. though I still don't liek the wings. I on the other hand love the other two pose's much more... so I intend on finishing at least one of them. I too liek the first one.. I think i could do more with the wings if I use that one... but the other one gives me that "shower" feeling.. like refreshement. Still deciding.
Thank you again ;] |

I have to say c) because it is very sexy. I think a) is very suggestive which is not bad, it just depends what your trying to say with the image. B) is so cliche, I think I have seen that pose and subject matter used so much.
I also want to comment that you're pretty but I think posting that picture of yourself was a bad idea, you never know the types of people you will run into on the net(people like me, BWAHAHAHA, just kidding, I'm a nice guy). Anyway be careful.
