I've been trying to incorporate my 2d skills with my 3d skills. This image was painted in Painter, then imported into 3d Studio max, where I modeled this deer(Santa and sleigh are on their way too Rendered in Brazil. I've been playing with materials in Brazil trying to achieve a sort of illustration look to the render and I kinda like what i'm coming up with. If anyone here has any pointers to how I can make this effect better that would be great.

The stair angle is a bit weird and the deer looks like it were floating in air (more shading for the ice/ground?).
Otherwise it looks fine to me
