Okay today I went back and changed a few things on it after staring at it for about 3 hours. I started to just dink around with different effects caused by different things. They are the 3 and 4 picture. The 3rd one is the one I posted yesterday and the 4th is what it looks like now. I did try some on the clothing, and will probably work on it a little more tomarrow. C&C welcomed!

Really like how you've got the hair looking, it has a nice feel to the form, and the highlights are good. I personally think it would look better if you used different colours of grey for the shading, since it just feels really dirty with that brown and those drab greys. Some cooler colours I think would work better. Well, that's just my opinion. Have fun!! |

That newest piece of work is coming along nicely, Jabberwocky.
I'd darken her very pale skin a little more and as for her hair, I think you might get a nice result if you blend the bottom version's hair with that in the image above that. One would provide the general tone while the other would offer the detail.
Keep going, keep going!

Gothic Gerbil: thanks I think tomarrow I'll try the different shades of grey... the hair still didn't feel right... I thought it looked better, but was missing something maybe that was it.
Highfive: I'll give it a shot with the hair blending, but as for the skin... I am that pale. I can't tan. (The pic is of myself) |

Hello,
Great illustration, it's consistent, you've got a nice style, very good job.
I'm not too sure about your last hair edit though. The lighter parts of the hair go way too light, tone them down a bit; make them fall within the hair. If you compare it to your face, I don't think it goes that light, unless you have very light blond hair or streaks.
The composition is just beautiful. |

I do have blond highlights, but I was going to add more levels of colours to make it more of a flow tomarrow... that was as far as I got today working on it. |
