i redrew the guys pose. his old pose was really stiff and dumb looking. I realized i had to exagerate the pose a lot to show his surprise/shock, since you don't really see much of the face.
i drew this as a 3-5 minute gesture drawing, and i thought it worked fine (i want him to be offbalance to the back some) http://www.geocities.com/keith_patton_2000/gesture.jpg
but i think he seems a lot more off balance in the actual picture... maybe i should move his left leg back, even though the original drawing wasn't like that.
