hi, this is a paint over of a 3d scene im doing at the mo, i dont have the time or the skill to produce a 3d person for the box so i thought it wouldn't be too hard just to paint them in Photoshop. But im having a lot of trouble to get the person to look right.

id like if id could get some advice on the general positioning of the person.





the actual image is going to be a front cover for the packaging of short film / animation im producing as part of my degree.

I'm no expert, but isn't his right hand wrong? The angle is wrong I think, that's the first thing that comes to mind, but give me time and I might notice something else... Great pic besides that!

mm, maybe get someone to pose outside a window and take a photo, for the face. And then get them to pretend they are in a box on the floor. Or make a visit to an aquariam store and find a kid and...

Acually I think the light could be better on the figure. Is the top of the box clear? if so put light on top of the figure, if not, make it comming up, reflecting off the floor. Also, he could probably use a little more forhead.

I hope you don't find any of this insulting.

GreenPeach: Not at all!, i appreciate all comments, and you are right. although i dont have time to go and take photos, i think i will try to ad more light to the figure and get it a bit more realistic looking, thanks.

i really like the theme a lot. and the green light looks pretty kewl. but is his left hand and arm not i little small?? compared to the right one i think.
