I've been doing alot of speed sketches. Here's two i did today.

One's a monkey lemur guy using photo reference(National Geographic kicks ass); the other is a welder elf (how i envision Santa's helpers). I think the monkey guy is alot better than the welder elf, but I think it seems to be a different style (unintentional). But what now? How would I develop a painting past this stage, OR would I have to approach it differently? Please tell me if you understand. PLEASE, PLEASE tell me what I can do to improve and what is wrong with these (such as the elf's goggles: i cant figure out whats wrong)
