lol yeah its missing a lot of stuff still, and yes it will be textured eventually. I've still got a lot more panel lines to put in the geometry as well as work on the cockpit interior, elevators and rudder, gear and a whole lot more little detail. I'm a huge aircraft nut so I'll take the time to put in all the insane little details.

Fantastic model. What program did you use to build it? |

It's modeled and rendered in Lightwave. I just started using the program but I like the modeler so far. There are some problems but your going to encounter problems with every software out there, some more than others I guess. I'm looking forward to adding more detail and getting some textures on theis guy. That is after I do a complete system re-install (damn virus)

Eegh, Arai you just brought back the sweet memories when I was small and innocent + painting and construction WW2 airplanes all day long. Ahh the memories. I especially enjoyed opening a white can of paint and literally spraying it all over the place, but not on the plane itself.
The planes of modern age suck in comparison. Give me a spitfire or a stuka any day!!
Anyway, very nice. Lightwave is a good program to go with and the modelling in it can be compared to excellent sex. |
