there is a problem with the volume. It looks flat. You have to work on highlights and shadows.

Also, i don't think a profile view is very intersting... It's easier to draw than a 3/4 view.

But you can fix that by "telling a story" with your image. He looks like somebody is talking with him... go on and add something narrative in your pic !

Also, i think the composition is not right. It's a general rule that you give more empty space in the direction where he's looking. (unless you want to give the feeling he's facing a wall, for example)


I'm not sure if everything is understandable ...because of my poor english, excuse me if what i write is not clear.

Daniel makes some good points, but doesn't touch on the good things.

The fur is looking good as is the general expression and coloring. All in all I think this is a great effort and with a little polishing of the shadows and highlights you'll have a great image.
