Hey
I was wondering if any of you have some advice on making a decent background for this piece...?
and ofcourse, if you see some issues, don't hesitate to point them out...
thanks

if you are out for a lotta work: hundreds of asymetric mirrors ... some of them broken
easier approach: make it a two-worlds picture .. with an forest and fantasy items (castle, white horse something) on the left (wise, old king) ... and a skyscraper close-up (night) on the right side (full streets, mirroring water etc.)
or try the maniac-style ... some black-white squares on the background ... but this one has been done so often now
my favourite: this one could also become a picture of a strange looking tree-closeup ... fantasy ... stare at the bark of a tree long enough and you start seeing stuff like this ... it's too detailed for an image written in the clouds
last one: nah ... i skip this one ... it's too weird ... it features a sleeping, dreaming child in it's room at night ... doesn't really fit though ... i guess, i just need sleep ![](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

nice to see some fellow norwegians here. Where are your from? Anyway, I like what you are doing here. I could do a overpaint, but due to lack of time there is no chance. Byt first of all, keep the style you alredy have. Those loose brush strokes shold also be used in some kind of manner in the background... Realy can't contribute with any good ideas whithout a pencil and a sheet of paper, and there is no time for that.
No help from me I guess.... |
