I went for dramatic lighting. I'm not an experienced artist nor do I have the blessing to be able to crit my own work very well yet, so I was hoping that you guys could give me pointers.

The biggest problem here is the nose. It seems like it's in the front view. And the eyes are a bit too large. Also, try to make it less contrasty, the head shape is totally lost.

thx for the comments
I worked a bit on the nose (satisfactorily?)
I really want to stay with this level of contrast (I'm planning to take the scetch out for some variations on this, with different lighting and maybe color)
I still have to play with the eyes (which is quite alot of work - I could move the eyelids down a bit though...hm
anyone else?
