I know the sketch is very preliminary, but just would like to know what you think are the biggest faults. What I'm going to adress as is is the left wing, the dress the size of the head and the legs/waist - the biggest issue perhaps being the dress, which should be more like a robe or so.

Oh, should mention she's holding a message of some sort and that she's been shot down and laying on the ground.

Only problem i see is in her legs. Theyre spread apart with no overlapping so it looks as if shes standing and about to throw down with someone. Fix the right leg and show that the dress falls between and it would look fine.

I like the idea. but, remember when your drawing is that the environment plays a very special role. The environment affects and influences the figure, hence the figure reacts to the environment. Like if she fell on the curb her body would be laying differently then if she was laying on a dirt pile. These are things to think about. So when drawing think about the circumstances.
