I tried a new (for me) method in photoshop. Any crits? Please ignore her wonky eyes though.
I won't be doing any more on this pic btw. I was just trying to try out a different shading method.

Well, to me, her right eye is looking at a point higher than her left eyes, plus it is bigger than her left eye, gives her a very psychotic look. She also look bucktoothed and those lips aren't flowing into the face too well. I'm liking the form you're getting into the hair though, it is looking good, and your shading is quite smooth. Her nose is looking a tad smooshed too. |

Looks good, Shiro Tengu. I like the detail you've put into the eyes to give them that sexy half-Asian appearance. Your method of shading her face is also good as the smoothness adds to her beauty. I can't pick out the dog features, though, as hard as I look.
Just got some anatomy crits though:
- the eyes on most faces usually sit a little above the mid point between the top of the head and the tip of the chin. Her's are sitting a little below.
- I think the hairline needs to be 15mm higher. The forehead looks smaller than it should be compared with the rest of the face.
- Finally, I can see you've painted the clavicles just below the neck and I think they need to be stretched out further. Those bones run from the shoulders to the centre of the chest and on most people (especially sexy babes) you can see that from the outside.
Hope these crits help. Nice work! |
