yeah, look here: http://www.blender.nl its a free (for non commercial purpose) 3d editor/game engine editor with some quite cool demos.
i did find the site last days, anyone knows this project ? |

I've toyed with Blender on and off over the years. There is a lot of power there, but the GUI is very, very confusing ... very non-intuitive. You need a lot of tutorials to get the hang of Blender. I prefer Realsoft 3D. Its not free, but its an awesome modeler/renderer/animator for the price. |

I heard a rumour that Blender doesn't have an undo function...I mean, that sounds sooo 1988. |

I've seen some really good work done in Blender, and I also know a couple of guys who got jobs in the games industry off the back of work they produced in Blender. I've only touched it myself very briefly though, and I'm sure I heard recently that Not A Number are about to go out of buisness so... |
