Hi, Im planing on doing a colour illustration with the good old wacom. Firstly I would like some feedback on my (very)rough sketch. Especially about the right leg. I want to get the crits before I go any further. Thanks all.

It should be up on a good site now. I gave geocities the boot. I hope you look again.

It's great. Needs more perspective in background. Make it more dramatic because she looks like she just took out a shit load of CT's.

Her hair needs to be more whispy. In action. As if she just dodged a bullet and she's turned back to see where i came from. Her left arm could me slightly bigger. Is she wearing short shorts like Tomb Raider? Round the back of the head so it looks more oval shaped.

Thanks monkey,
Yes you are right - I will give her hair some more attention.

And no, she will be wearing long combat fatigues not shorts.

I think you've got the anatomy down really well. Legs look good. The arms could be a bit more beefy to compliment the legs.

A suggestion would be to lift the chin a bit and have her looking to the right a little more, like she's looking back towards whoever might be chasing her.

With the hair, you could lift the hairline some. And straight hair like that is usually quite thin, so less buffiness on top/at the back might help.

Overall I love the dynamic nature of the image, can't wait to see it colored.

I was watching Ghostbusters 2 the other day on DVD, and really liked that river of slime that was in the movie (and causing all the ghosts to run havoc). Anyway, thought that might work for this pic Shiro_tengu. It's just rough to suggest some colours and values. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with (and great to see another aussie on board)!

Looking very good already. The hair really needs work, though. And that silencer's perspective is slightly off, IMO.

Looking forward to see the illustration!

that is awesome, thanks mate. Yeah, I remember ghostbusters 2 now. Man, that looks fantastic. (its my desktop wallpaper of the week award winner!)

Jaymo and monkey - yes - its true, Im lazy when it comes to hair. I will give that some greater effort.

Anyone want to sketch their idea of how I should do the hair?
