Here's another post in a similar vein to my last one. It's just an idea for a character that I don't know if I will take any further.
Most of my drawings seem to get to this stage and then I don't know how to continue, do I ink them, try painting them, render them in pencil or just leave them...so they just stay like this for a while.
I think this lack of finished work comes from not being able to find a 'style' that I'm happy with. I keep trying to develop my skill to find a style that is unique and appealing to others and myself but so far I'm just confused. Can anyone here give me some advice on what to do to develop a personal style or on the style that I have at the moment?
thanks in advance. |

Your piece is good, you definitly have a lot of talent behind you
As for personal style all I can say is experiment with new ideas. Try things you maybe wouldn't have considered when you were honing your skills to the level they are today. Have you tried incorporating more than one character in your piece?
Thats really all I can think of in my half-asleep state I'm sure some of the other members will have some better though out ideas for you. |
