Hi everyone. I'm new to this board. This is an experimental piece. I'm new to digital art but i've been an airbrush artist for about 13+ years.
I started this one by sketching in black directly in PS with the brush tool. then I started blocking in color and shading with the airbrush tool set to screen and multiply. just before I flattened it I changed the black line into a dark brown and then i blended the outline in. and thats where I'm at right now. you can still see some of the brown outlines especially on the right side. any suggestions, comments or critiques ?

Looks good so far. The lighting is well done and the proportions are cartoonish in a good way. I especially like how you've handled the hair. |

thanks for responding to my post.I was going for a characature kind of look with more realistic shading. also it was done with a Wacom. I'm having fun getting used to this thing. I've had this wacom for a while but I didnt put it to use until I started to see what some of you guys can do with it... amazing stuff...very inspiring. I'll post my other experimat next. |
