I did this creature here.. I wanna know if you guys have any critics or think that I should change something before I ink and color it.

i think that it is too basic, not very interesting as a concept. as a line drawing of a creature it looks a little mega-man-ish, and shoulders/upper arms dont look like they would be able to support those huge forearms.

i am not saying to make it more liek a human,m the point of a concept is to come up with things differently, i like the large forearms, and a way to have them be a possible path of technology/evolution would just be adding some other type of support. maybe like large skeletal structure extruding from the back shoulder blades, to express that the large arms are counter-balanced, and therefore just as easy to manuveur that if it had large bulky shoulder muscles.

i like it good start but i think you should add more intersting new and original ideas to it. the gun and head/face are pretty generic as well.

hi keto! thanks for the reply, well appreciated.
that was exactly I was thinking about... The character has nothing original as you said. Actually I was playing around in photoshop and it turned out that. I'll add more details, change his gun.. put something on his head and some tech stuff. As for being mega-man-ish.. well, heh, I realised that only when I finished...then I was reading again a magazine called Digital Designer and i saw a picture of a robot with huge forearms... maybe it was in my subconscious.. heh..
i'll post it when it's done
