I the proportions are off but I just dont see why... and the lighting, maybe.. inspired by the maxx maybe??

arm might be too gigantic. the fingers are deformed (80% fingers, 20% hand) . less contrast would be cool.

looks like Maxx (purposely?) either way i personly dig the fingers, they look very articulated and have a nice style to them.
the style of the fingers does not seem to transend across the entire picture though.

Its supposed to have 80% fingers and 20% hand, as you might guess, he wont be petting any puppies with them, ok, the arms off, I can see that now, and I might need to fix the angle of the hand closest to the viewer, and more...
