I am completely drained. I just finished the dullest homework assignment I've had in a long time--summarizing 6 classes' worth of essays on modernism and modernity. (That's a LOT more than 6 essays, annoyingly enough.)

The worst of it is, though, I can't even complain about it, really. After all, there have been 7 classes so far, of which I have attended a staggering...1. The professor is, in fact, doing me a huge FAVOR by letting me write summaries of the readings and stay in the class, instead of booting me out entirely. It IS, after all, a seminar/discussion class. So I cannot be anything but grateful. Augh!

(I didn't miss the classes because of laziness, incidentally, but because of illness. Otherwise, I don't think I'd have been given a break like this.)

Is the course you are taking related to art (ex: art history..bla bla)? Cause i'm really afraid of those art history stuff, they are quite dull and boring for such an imature person like me.

Yep. Art history. *Sighs* A requisite for an art degree, unfortunately.

You know I don't really think is the subject matter that causes a class to be boring, I truly believe it is the teacher. I had an AMAZING art history teacher when I was going to school. You would leave his class feeling amazingly knowledgeble as well as humbled after seeing some of the incredible art that came before us.

Hey Socar check this thread out, well not yet since you are so drained but later on.
