[Vesuvius]

unfortunatley I only finished this much before my HDD decided to die and lose half the 40 gb of info on it. I have my comp running but with lots of errors, and thought I might as well post this now before backing everything up and reformatting. I only finished the eye, but this is supposed to be part of the face of a 'deep one' an amphibious creature, alien in initial origin, that lives in the darkest depths of the atlantic and which interbreeds with the humans who covertly worship them to both bestow upon the humans who slowly grow more deformed in appearance a life in which they cannot die of old age or disease, and to spread their control over humanity. they kill and take human sacrifice, they worship Dagon and hide in the darkest spots where sunlight fears to tread.

this is cropped, I do intend to make an entire face. I did this in photoshop, with no direct refence though I did look at photos prior to starting. criticism and advice are welcome.
