couple things im wondering about, plus feel free to throw anything else at me.

1. how would i make his right leg more 3d looking? i'm not sure how the light would hit it.

2. what's a good way to take the edge off my shadows? my original problem was not enough contrast, now it seems like too much.

3. anyone have any thoughts on a background that would be good? i never do them, and i should.
