here are two pages from two different sketchbooks of mine, one is from faces in the subways and the other is based on a story my friend related to me... i'm going to post more of these drawings in my website.

well, yeah... they're sleeping, that's when i can draw them. if they were awake, they'd move or give me dirty looks. and i don't want to pick fights with the elderly. most are 30 second to 1 minute drawings.

-btw, have you noticed how moe has a different vice every season in the simpons? first he was ugly (it's my big ears isn't it kids?) , then he was a criminal (ie whale smuggling), they he was attracted to "midge"... then he was a pervert (straight to the reject section).

Beeeeautiful. Really nice pages! The page of sleeping commuters is so funny. I've pissed off (or just freaked out) so many people sketching on the metro North, it brings a tear to my eye. My favorite would be the headphone kid whose head has fallen back. Classic. That guy is on every subway car!

I love the two-page spread. Really nice composition and gestures. While the anatomy on the figures isn't perfect, the gestures are great. The little girl has a lot of character.

Interesting Moe observation. Damn, I just weened myself from watching the reruns everyday, too!
