[edit] fixed the url which should work now. by the way, what is this about brinkster and bandwidth limits? [end edit]
need some help with the colouring on the characters, it's not going right somehow. how do you get a moonlight illumination effect on human skin and still get the skintone to look natural? this means bugger the dark elf, his only problem is his hair - how do you colour white hair, comic-style, or any other way that would fit here?

I think the biggest problem with the color, and the picture in general is having a consistent light source. The moonlight is coming through the window behind them, which is a tricky situation at best. They're backlit, meaning they'll be mostly black, with maybe some ambient light creating tones of blue, and then the edges of the figures will have some brighter colors where the moon is illuminating them more.
Think of a solor eclipse when the moon blocks the sun, and you have a black circle with a color halo around it. That's an extreme example, but you get the idea.
My best advice is to look at objects in moonlight. Get some red fabric and see how the color changes when you light it with only the moon behind it. Likewise with skin.
BTW, I really like the window, wall, moon, and flowers. Reminds me of an Ivan Albright painting. Look him up.
