Im looking for a critique. I know some parts look used and some parts look brand spanking new. I'm going to fix that. Even the scratches look new and that sucks.

Wow. Holy cow, but that's a good piece. It looks very realistic. I'm not a CG expert and I'm just starting to appreciate how realistic some of these images can be.
My only suggestion is that the CD/DVD disc doesn't look as realistic as the rest of the piece. I held up a CD to see why it looked off and my only thought is that the prismatic rainbow reflected when you look at a disc is normally a tight line cutting across the face of the disc, not two areas on either end of the disc.
I might be wrong. If you look at a CD in the light you'll be able to tell for yourself.
Overall that pic is still very very sweet. Looks like either a futuristic laptop computer or possibly a portable digital canvass from 2010. ![](images/smiles/icon_cool.gif) |
