Horrid line work... Too sketchy, but one could CG.. Anyhow, if you wish to CG this, be my guest, I would be honored for anyone who wish to CG my lineworks. Sorry about the lines though... I did this like in 2am. lol. It is a girl.. with a sword.. I think I kinda messed up on the foreshortening, but oh well. I could go for some nice or harsh critiques too. Anything to feed the mind. |

I liked her better the other way, with the skimpy armor.
Her right arm is dorked up, the angle is all wrong and the left hand needs to have the thumb outsstretched and the fingers splayed a little. I tried to hold my hand in that position and it really hurt. make the outer 2 fingers less clinched, only folded over so you can still see the tops and nails.
Her back is too straight for the pose she's in, make her curving into a ball a little more. I hope its not too harsh for you. I still like the original pose you did, it was more playful. I did a sketchover adding some muscle tones and left the knife in her sheath, and made her tossing a glowing sphere in her hand, maybe getting ready to toss a magic bomb or something. I might scan it and post it on this thread if you want. |

I like the pose. Real dynamic.
Only things I see are that her abdomen seems maybe a bit long (a bit) and her feet are a bit round and short.
As for the foreshortening it looks fine on the hand out front. You cant really see her arm at all but it works fine. The back arm (her right arm) I can't really tell what's wrinkles or what's hair with total certainty. But it looks a little too high and out at first glance.
Nice stuff! Would like to see it colored if you're gonna.
